Biography

In the past 20 years, Alexandre has written three books - "O Cirurgião-Dentista frente a AIDS" -“Saúde para Músico” e “Odontologia para Músicos de Sopro” – and he has become the main reference of the musicians dentistry's area in Brazil, treating patients from all over the country who work in major bands and orchestras. Specifically in the odontology field, Alexandre published clinical cases and studies in major international magazines, as Pinnacle Medicine & Medical Sciences (Africa and Middle East), Trumpetland (Spain), International Trumpet Guild (ITG, USA) and the International Horn Society (IHS). “Apart from brazilian musicians, many players from various countries, from Latin America and other regions come looking for him”. Thanks to his performance in Brazil, the Dentistry Federal Council issued in 2012, the 717 rule, in which it recognizes the wind musician as a special patient who requires attention.
